jeremy-thumb.jpgJeremy Vance Miller is a multi-talented young man who has devoted himself to music through song and piano. He was born on May 18, 1994 and is a resident of Columbia, SC. Jeremy has performed in multiple talent shows throughout his high school years and his talent led him to acquire the title of “Most Talented Male for Senior Superlatives”. He was part of the honors chorus and he composed a number of music pieces during his prime years in high school. He is currently a student at Midlands Technical College. Jeremy has so many goals in life and one of them is to transfer to the University of SC in the near future in order to advance further in his education. Associate in Arts is his program area and his major is music. Jeremy’s love for music has been a major part of his life ever since he was a child. His objective is to magnify his music ability through instrumental talents. His goals are to perform at concerts, church events, weddings, etc. in order to further develop his God given talents. He has also created his own company entitled Ad’Vance Music. He has devoted himself in nurturing his God-given talents whenever he can -he believes that reaching others is an important and fulfilling mission in life. BIO OF TIM WALTERS

Tim Walters believes in a holistic approach to teaching music: Equip students to perform at their highest levels in various styles of music including jazz, pop, religious and classical.

Tim is a music major at the University of South Carolina where he has majored is saxophone, choral studies (piano emphasis) and is currently near completion of a B.A. degree in music, piano. He has participated on the top, auditioned ensembles at USC, including the wind ensemble, symphonic band, Left Bank jazz ensemble and concert choir. He has been the pianist for several middle and high school choruses and musical productions. He has also been the accompanist for several South Carolina college concert choirs. Tim has also been a saxophonist on bands backing nationally and internationally known jazz artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops and the Barnum & Bailey Circus.

In Addition to teaching privately, he is currently the pianist for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Gospel Choir and the musician at Columbia area churches.

He has studied with renowned musicians/teachers including: Saxophone-Roger Pemberton, Eric Ohlsson, Douglas Graham and Ken Foerch. Flute-Constance Lane. Piano-Joseph Rackers, John Williams and Harriet Zimmerman.

While in high school, Tim Walters also did music studies at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY; the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts in Greenville, SC; and he was first chair, alto saxophone, on the South Carolina All State band for three years, ending his final year in high school.
